Sherlene: A Christmas Poem of the Charity of Kindness

Most American and International Christian families will continue the Christmas season through January 6, yearly: the feast of the Epiphany. Does it bother you to realize that we participate in an international faith of Jesus's vision of the meaning of the system of Church? Does it bother you to understand that Jesus (God in flesh) is not an American? The bible reveals to us that God is a spirit that is above all things. He is above the seven continents, and above the seven heavens. God, the Holy Trinity of God, is above all things, on purpose. The bible describes his distance between the planets as a distance that can never ever be reached: He is way above the known planets; way above the formation of any new planets of our planet system classifications.

In concluding our fellowship devotion time of the year of 2018, we have discussed and reviewed several books of the Old Testament scriptures of the bible (Genesis - Obadiah, KJV). Some actions that were consistent in our teachings: the importance of the actions of giving/tithing/charity. Most faith believers or church-building ministries will often discuss the verse that describes it is better to give than to receive; better to be the head than the tail.   Of God In Christs Purpose Assembly "GICPA" ministry, my ministry teaching consistently highlighted a different way of thinking of the action of either being blessed with or lacking. The consistent  verse/lesson throughout the year; verse(s) of how "we should never give until we have been given." How can you truly give unless you have truly received?

The following poem shares ideas of ways to productively demonstrate the charity or giving of kindness--on purpose.

Christmas Through the Year
A little bit of Christmas lives within the heart each day,
When you do a kindly deed, give a word of cheer away.
Why should we save our kindnesses for just one special time,
The World needs love and caring when Christmas bells don't chime.

Reach out a hand to help someone; cheer some lonely heart today,
The gifts that mean the most aren't those for which we pay.
Though tinseled scenes have faded that mark the yuletide cheer,
Christmas living in the heart grows bright through the year!

Have a blessed and productive New Year! May we continue to strive to do things productively in the year of 2019.
