Chp.16 Exodus (Holy Bible)

Aired 4/18/2011. Introduction: Moses is the leader of the children of Israel (Jews).  Aaron (Haroun) is the speaker. Miriam is a female priest or prophetess and a praiser. She is also the sister of Moses and Aaron. The next two chapters discusses the needs and wants of freed people and how God (Yahweh, Allah) provides for humankind. Chp. 16 16:2  Nope, here the people began complaining to the two leaders again. 16:3  We have the Israelites accusing Moses and Aaron of attempted murder of all the newly freed citizens.  Pharaoh had provided their wants only to have them nourished enough to be productive slaves for his needs and wants. 16:4  God provides and, yet, still tests us so that we trust only him.  If we trust him than we shall receive double for the trouble of trials and tribulations. 16:6  By evening, they will remember who truly brought them out of bondage.  Moses asks them, "Why do you complain to me..I am just a worker. Keep telling God..I know you can't see

Exodus Chp. 15

Aired 4/11/11. Introduction of Chapter 15 What we learned thus far: God (Yahweh, Allah) has allowed Pharaoh (leader) to educate and work other humans that are not from the Egyptian culture. God says, "Oops! Waitttttt....." when it becomes more of an entrapment. The humans were now in slave bondage. Mothers can you understand? Yes, mothers because you are the ones who are the majority in our world today.  We must end participating in companies or businesses that keep families in bondage. This chapter is about the creation of the first two songs - one by Moses and another by Miriam. These are songs to give praise to God.  Miriam is a prophetess, and the sister of Moses and Aaron. Apparently, God had chosen this family line to be the religious leaders of the twelve tribes.  My source indicates that there is no evidence of women being allowed in the priesthood. So, Miriam had to be identified as a prophetess.  This term prophetess had the same job definition of a priest duri

Exodus Chp. 12

Aired March 28, 2011. Introduction In Exodus we have discussed that God is I Am That I Am. Chp. 12 12:2    Meaning a new beginning. One is the biblical number of God (Yahweh, Allah). 12:3    Jesus (Isa) was the last human lamb or sacrifice. God is not telling men to go into their houses and kill another for a human sacrifice. 12:4    Large families, we realize that we can never have enough food do we not?  God or I Am was instructing them and informing generations to come that we should never waste food, gifts, talents, male sperm, etc. When a male empties without being in a women's vagina it is considered wasting what God has blessed.  Another example of this is if you have a family member in need then you, if able, should provide the necessities. You are considered blessed. It would be foolish to give all that you have to another. 12:7    This is an important verse. 12:11 This year the event of Passover will be in April.  Most faith events occur at sundown the evening b

Introduction of Passover (Exodus)

Aired 3/28/2011. Passover or Pesach (Jewish, Hebrew) is best described in Chp 12:12-13.  There were 10 plagues. Ten is the biblical meaning of eternity without end. ThePassover Lamb was a symbol of Jesus (Isa) and had to be Without blemish A young male Examined four days from the selection for sacrifice Slain in public unbroken. No bones could be broken. The blood on the Israelites doorpost was a sign that God should pass over them and not destroy the family's first born.  The comparison of Jesus: 1) Sinless and perfect 2) Of the male gender 3) Somewhat young when he was slain according to the expected avg of human life at that time. 4) Jesus lived a meticulously examined life 5) Jesus died publicly it does not matter the brutality of his death. 6) The king instructed that none of his bones could be broken. The soldiers had to guard him amongst the crowd that wanted to kill him so that his bones would not be broken. If Jesus' bones would have been broken then

Exodus Chp. 6 -11

Aired March 7 - 21, 2011. Chp. 6 6:2    I am the Lord meaning I am higher than your Pharaoh or your hinderences. God (Yahweh, Allah): I AM THAT I AM is also known as Jehovah to the Israelites. Chp. 7 7:7   Moses was 40 yrs old and Aaron age 43 when they spoke to Pharaoh. Chp. 10 Introduction:  In this particular chapter God is speaking events to come through Pharaoh.  This is a very prophetic chapter for those of you who have never read the Holy Bible or Bible. 10:3 Although Pharaoh is speaking, God asks the question, "Why do we refuse to humble" ...and worshipping idols...The majority of Egyptians were not of African descent. 10:13  The land of Egypt is near the lands of Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Sadi Arabia. On the west side is the UK or Europe. 10:28 This is God speaking through Pharaoh. Chp. 11 Introduction: This is the last plague God places on Pharaoh. He warns Moses to get ready. 11:2  The Israelites were not ashamed of borrowing from friends to get wha

Chapter 5 (Exodus)

5:13 Pharaoh placed even more work on the Israel people. Using today's words, he included more tasks within their job descriptions. Was it fair for the entire staff to adhere to such demands? God (Allah, Yahweh) had hardened his heart.  God made him to feel no shame or empathy for the Israel workers' woes.  To simplify, "you will make money for me, and not for yourselves, or you can leave."  The slaves were scared. They were use to the given lifestyle.  5:14 This is similar to the African slave trade. First, we sold ourselves to the white man. After the first few sales, the white man realized how valuable we are to endure the harsh weathers.  We endured the spring-the hot summers-autumn-and the cold winters.  Amen, thank you God.  Yes, we endured.  If we made it across the seas African slaves...African slaves descendants, did we make it across the seas? White European slave descendants, did you make it across the seas? 5:17 Pharaoh puts his foot down and commands

Exodus Chp. 4 & 5

Aired February 28, 2011. Introduction: God reveals to Moses I AM THAT I AM.  I am Jehovah. I am God. I am Allah.  I am Yahweh. Write a complete thought or sentence using I am ______. Or, recite the I AM meditation poem by Michael Wynn. Since this is Black History Month, I will conduct this week's teaching as an United Methodist Lay Speaker ( I was in 2001-2002). Chp. 4 4:9 God or Allah says "if" they will not believe.  Did you notice that God did not for tell that they would not believe Moses' first two signs? In my opinion, God gives people choices hoping they will choose the right one.  4:10 Moses said I AM slow to speech, and slow to tongue.  Isn't that just like God, the I AM THAT I AM, who is slow to give his response to his human beings. However, when he finally gives direction it is always right on time. 4:11 We discussed the usage of the phrases deaf, dumb, and blind as slang words.  The Quran uses these words quite a bit. 4:18 Moses gives respect

Exodus 1 - 3 (Holy Bible)

Aired Feb. 21, 2010. Vocabulary: 1. taskmasters - chiefs of slave gangs 2. Pharaoh - Is the ruler of a land; a.k.a. king Chp. 2 Introduction: If you recall, the Hebrews were known as God's (Yahweh, Allah) favored people.  The Egyptians and Hebrews did not associate with one another. It just wasn't their custom to do so even though, it was actually the Hebrew child, Joseph, who saved the Egyptian people.  Moses is Joseph's nephew. 2:1 Moses' parents are from the same immediate family -maybe cousins, or an aunt or uncle to a nephew or niece of said family. 2:10 The name Moses means "draw out." 2:13 Notice the Hebraic language using third person, he said to him that did the wrong... 2:14 He instead of I said... 2:19 Thankfully, someone had been there to water the flock (Today, meaning congregation). Moses married Zipporah who is a daughter of a priest. He was 40 years of age when he married this foreigner or shall we say whore (eemales who marri

Introduction of Exodus (Holy Bible)

Aired February 21, 2011. Introduction of Exodus Moses wrote the majority of this book as well.  It is important to note that Jacob, now Israel, has 12 sons who will create the 12 tribes of the entire world of faith believers.  These are the names of the 12 sons that create the 12 tribes: 1. Reuben 2. Simeon 3. Levi 4. Judah 5. Issachar 6. Zebulun 7. Benjamin 8. Dan 9. Naphtali 10. Gad 11. Asher 12. Joseph There was only one daughter.  If it were not for Joseph's talent all of Egypt would have died.  After many generations of not telling these events, the people of Egypt had forgotten who saved them over 400 years ago. Or, the new Pharoah could have been a foreigner who won the land by bargains or trades.  It would have be very unusual for Egypt to have had an outsider rule over them. It is challenging to have a new president in our democratic society, but for these people to not remember Joseph I find absolutely amazing.  The new Pharoah felt threatened by the Hebrews; a now l

Book of Genesis Review

Aired February 7, 2011. Genesis in Greek means "virgin." It is believed a very intelligent man by the name of Moses wrote this book.  Moses' teaching, or written down scriptures helped to write other Old Testament books.  When God (Allah, Yaweh) allowed the Bible to be written, his mission was to allow all people to be able to read the scriptures. God created every thing in the beginning -the world, planets, animals, etc. The first humans shared gender equality in a sense; a male (Adam) and a female (Eve). There were angels in heaven before the creation of Adam and Eve.  Human beings are the only creatures who can go against God's authority by having the right to choose. Satan (Shaitan) was a supervisor of music sung by the heavenly angels.  He wanted to be God. God casted him out of heaven and he is no longer allowed to return.  Now, he travels the earth and hell seeking humans who go against God's instructions.  His mission is to kill, steal, and destroy hu

Book of Genesis: Chp. 44 -46

Aired January 24, 2011. Have you ever felt betrayed, or found guilty of some wrong doing? Yet, you were really innocent.  In Chp. 44 we read that Joseph was betrayed by his brothers. Now, to teach them a lesson he placed a silver cup in his youngest brother's sack.  A sack that he had requested for the family.  Benjamin had not been a part of the family secret.  The Egyptians and Hebrews lived separately.  If they had to gather for any reason the Egyptians would sit apart from the Hebrews.  Chp. 44 44:18 Notice Lord is not capitalized or upper cased.  You will only find an upper case "L" when making reference to God (Allah, Yahweh, or Jesus). Chp. 45 45:5 Do you suppose this is what Jesus says to faith believers? 45:21 Joseph is now the governor of Egypt and everything in it.  He respects his boss, and his position.  We must be like Joseph to understand our place or identity on the job.  This will allow us to build trust/loyalty/respect. Sometimes we may start at

Semi Review of the Book of Genesis

Aired January 24, 2011. Due to family jealousy, it took Jacob's family 400 years to reach the promise land that God (Yaweh, Allah) had promised to he and his family. The Egyptian culture accepted prophets; and, did not believe in priests.  They may have not believed in wearing a lot of human hair on the body either.  The Egyptians were known as a society that disliked other races, and social identities.  It must have been God to allow a white Hebrew named Joseph to become governor of Egypt.  This translation tells us not to take it personally when others do not like you.  It may be just their cultural views or traditions. Jacob's family were the first Jews: Sons of Leah, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulan, and Joseph equalling a total family tree of 70.  Seven is the biblical number of completion; nothing needs to be added, or changed in the making of the first Jews. Lastly, the first man and woman were created on the continent of Africa.  Africans and Arabi

Genesis Chp. 36 and 37

Aired 12/31/2010. Introduction Esau and Jacob's generational lines: Jacob had a favorite son, and there were issues involving the Jealousy spirit. Notice that Chp. 37 is similar to the topics of Satan when he was in the Garden of Eden, and instructed Eve to eat of the apple. Chp. 36 36:15 the dream of Joseph Chp. 37 37:5  Many believers often recite Joseph's dream to express why people should keep their dream, or ambitions to one's self.  Maybe the lesson of Joseph's dream is to have enough self-confidence. 37:9  Joseph dreamed again, and told it again to his brothers.  Apparently, his brothers were wise enough to keep their emotions in tact and only murmured amongst themselves. Lastly, the Egyptian Pharoah was aquainted with witchcraft and magicians.  Their powers were almost equivalent to God's powers.  Yet, true believers can always identify God's powers.  Did you happen to notice the word Lord was mentioned in upper and lower case "L"

Holy Bible Genesis Chp 29 - 31; Biblical Meaning of Numbers

Aired Nov - Dec 6, 2010. Chp. 29 29:2  Three means resurrection and completion. This verse is very similar to the life of Jesus (Isa). The well is of significance it symbolizes Jesus.  A well produces water that nourishes. 29:3  In this particular verse we learn that Jesus is the well.  All religions flock, or will come to him to get nourished for their human spirit and body.  We will learn more about Jesus in the New Testaments for those of you who have never read the Holy Bible. Chp. 30 & 31 Introduction Jacob went searching for a wife out of his mother;s homeland. Jacob found Rachel -his first cousin on his mother's side.  Rachel had a sister named Leah.  Leah means "wild cow". He worked seven years at his great uncle's place so he could marry Rachel. Laban, Jacob's father-in-law, promised to be an honest employer. He later became untrustworthy.  No matter how hard Jacob worked, Laban treated him unfairly for 20 years.  God revealed to Jacob in a d

Genesis Chp. 26 - 28 (Holy Bible)

Aired 10/22/2010. Vocabulary 1. birthright - Godly blessing by God, or parents' future goals verbalized with a prayer to God/Allah Chp. 26 Introduction (God/Yaweh/Allah allows repetition.) Isaac and Rebekah repeat the event of saying that they were only sister/brother such as the scenario of Abraham/Sarah.  What would have happened if Abraham would have discussed the lie? Instead a curse was placed on the people in the foreign land.  God's people now include Isaac, the son of Abraham.  He has twin boys - Esau and Jacob.  Esau, the oldest, marries two women -Judith and Bash'emath. New and first creations received a godly blessing especially, if you were the first born.  Let's read the chapters to see the importance of the first born birthright: 26:34 Judith means praise. 26:35 Isaac and Rebekah were not pleased of the marriage. Chp. 27 27:11 God has created Esau and Jacob differently.  One is hairy and a hunter; the other, is studious and less hairy. 27:12 Ju

[A Youtube.com Video] youtu.be/gD3xXRaJuxo Chestertown Futures Case Study #16: John Munson John Munson has a gentle way of expressing the frustration as well as the hope for a entire generation of African-American young men in Chestertown. There’s a big scandal happening across North America.   Listen to the video to find out what it’s costing our citizens. I would love to hear other confessions if you are sincere, and admit that you were a part.   My suggestion is to sit all females in high positions down (if they were a part).   I am begging all religious organizations to do this just until we get to the bottom of this.   There are innocent victims who should receive an apology, money, and their lives back.   I say we must sit such women down in their positions (those who had a part) because they were the ones who believed that

Genesis: Chapter 24 & 25 (Holy Bible)

Aired November 15, 2010. Vocabulary 1. ghost - holy ghost of God (Allah, Yaweh); it is the spirit or God's presence to human beings. Abraham wanted Isaac to marry from his homeland. Rebekah married Isaac. She is the daughter of Milcah's son who is the son of Abraham's brother's wife.  After Sarah's death, Abraham remarried to Keturah.  Rebekah gave birth to twin boys -Esau and Jacob.  Jacob is the youngest.  Esau grew to become a skilled hunter.  Jacob was studious. Isaac and Rebekah favored their children separately.  This created jealousy, and envy between the brothers to the point that the younger asked for the birthrights of the older. Chapter 24 24:5  Peradventure means just by chance; just suppose 24:18 Rebekah referred to him as "my lord" because he was a stranger. 24:25 provender -animal feed 24:34 Abraham's servant, Isaac his son refers to Abraham as the servant Chapter 25 25:16 Ishmael was of color whose family line was from Egy

Holy Bible Chp. 20, 21, 22

Aired November 8, 2010. Was Abraham lying? No, Sarah was related to Abraham.  In Abraham's time it was an honor to marry a close relative.  We also learn that God (Allah, Yaweh) reveals that Abraham is a prophet. Abraham's task as a prophet was to have a continual relationship with God. Chapter 21 is more repetition of the birth of Abraham's two sons one by his wife - Sarah and the other by his wife's maidservant Hagar.  Isaac and Ishmael would grow up to become God fearing men. Both sons were honored by God. They were given a blessing by God/Allah of nations that they would lead to fear God.  Although, both were Abraham's seed Isaac would receive more of the blessing because God had made a promise to Sarah that she would one day conceive. Scripture Lesson 21:5   Isaac means God is laughing now. 21:9   At the time Isaac was born, Ishmael was around 17.  Hagar, her maidservant, was of color -an Egyptian. 21:21  Hagar wanted Isaac to marry out of her homeland

Genesis Chp. 19 & 20 (Holy Bible)

Aired 11/1/2010. To complete Chp.18, 18:20 told us about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.  These were horrific sins happening in the neighboring cities near the southern end of the Dead Sea. INTRODUCTION Chp 19. We will discuss Lot -the nephew of Abraham who was born in southern Iraq.  Lot wanted to live separately from his religious upbringing.  He moved to the big city of Sodom near the southern end of the Dead Sea.  God (Allah, Yaweh) had instructed him not to do so.  Lot eventually becomes an elected official in the sinful city of Sodom.  God sends two angels to warn Lot that he was going to destroy the city of Sodom.  He and his family were heavenly forced to leave their home and community, but his wife looked back: DISCUSSION 19:1 When Lot saw the two male angels of God he didn't know they were angels.  Lot showed respect or treated his neighbors like himself by bowing ro the strangers - bowing to the angels of God or Allah. 19:2  Sarah called Abraham her lord. So, i

Holy Bible (Genesis): Chp. 16, 17, and 18 Discussion

Aired 10/25/2010. Chp. 16 16:15   As stated earlier people gave names according to God's will, hopes, or by events that was or going to be. 16:16  Abram was 46 years old when Ishmael was born.  This was the first accounted event of a wife allowing her husband to be with another woman. Chp. 17 17:1  It would be over 50 years before God/Allah would appear to Abraham again. 17:5  Abraham name means a father of many nations.  God (Allah) changed his name from Abram to Abraham.  Many religions allow their members to change their names due to their religious beliefs and systems. 17:7  God tells Abraham that he promises that royalty will come from his seeds (children).  God will be their God for many generations to come. 17:10 Abraham must promise to circumcise every boy of his offspring, or who live in the lands that God has given him. 17:15 So Sarai became Sarah. 17:20 Notice how God/Allah is revealing the future of Abraham's household.  Later, we will learn that God was

Aired 10/25/2010 Vocabulary: 1. plague - an event or punishment by God or Allah 2. vision - a forthtelling event that will happen to you or some one else Introduction Melchizedek means "My King Is Righteous."  Salem is another name for Jerusalem. The first vision and first plague. Overview Sarai was desiring to have children. God (Allah) had promised Abraham that one day his household would be greater than the stars in the sky and too numerous to count them. Sarai told her husband Abram to have sex with her maid.  He agreed and had sex with her maidservant.  Hagar conceived a boy.  Hagar was despised by Sarai. Hagar flees and returned by the request of God.  Abraham is blessed by the birth of his first son, and another by Sarai. Now Abraham has two sons -Ishmael (Hagar's) and Isaac (Sarai's). Chapter 16 16:15 As stated earlier people gave names according to God's will, hopes, or by events that was yet to be. 16:16 Abram was 46 years old when Ishmael

Noah and the Introduction of Cultural Races

Aired 10/11/2010 Noah and his family were the only humans who had been a part of two worlds on the planet earth: the evil human race, and the new human race. They were a part of the old and, also, the "new human race." A challenge to be a part of the old as well as the new led by the instructions of God (Jehovah, Allah). Noah was able to discuss with his descendents the great flood that took place during his time.  All of his descendents were unified and living in harmony. Yet, they began to dream of building a tower to heaven -where God is.  God was not pleased because earthly can not be a part of the heavens. So he divided us into various cultures, groupings, and, yes, races.  After God scattered mankind some stayed in Africa, and others went to Europe and so on.  The people who remained closer to the sun had dark skin tones.  Others who moved away from the sun became very light.  It is believed that all races have genes of the continent of Africa.  This would explain why

Noah and the Ark, contd

Aired 10/11/2010 Chapter 8 (Holy Bible) 8:2   Fountains is more of a Greek word, a description or personification of the seas and of the storm. 8:3   The rain stopped. 8:5   When there is a high tide the water rises, eventually the height of water slowly decreases.  So three months later the water finally decreased. 8:6   Just like God or Allah promised the rain stopped on the 40th day. Noah and his family still remained in the ark. 8:13  A year later the ground was dry enough to walk on. 8:14  The following month the whole earth was dry. 8:20  Noah killed and cooked many animals as a sacrificial offering unto God (Jehovah, Allah). 8:21  Since we are on the earth we are not totally like God. God did not even realize what his own creation would be like on earth. He promised that he would never destroy all of mankind again. 8:22  Speaks of his promise to all the earth. Vocabulary 1. covenant - a promise that can be made now and can be made to the generations afterwards 2.

Noah and the Ark (Holy Bible)

The NewMonday is generally available each Tuesday evening. Closed last Tuesday due to the extreme heat :) Aired 10/4/2010 The next few chapters we will discuss Noah, his family, and the male/female creatures that were on the ark.  The ark was similar to a cruise ship. The NIV Bible says the ark was 450 feet long - long as 1 1/2 football fields and 45 feet tall; high as a five story building.  Some architectures have found parts of what could have been the ark near Africa.  The door was so large that God (Jehovah, Allah) had to shut it.  When you have big burdens it takes God to help you close/endure it.  Men, it is okay if you can not do everything.  Let God help you when something is too big for you to handle or endure.  The ark was built by Noah under God's instructions.  It took 120 years to build the ark. The name Noah means rest or comfort.  Noah is the son of Lamech and the grandson of Methuselah.  He is a part of the 10th generation after Adam. Chapter 7 Holy Bible,

Aired 9/27/2010 Vocabulary 1. genealogy - an historical account of a person, or family from an ancestor (older family line) 2.Genealogy of Adam - the family history of 1st man & woman 3. family curse - an evilness or bad thing that happens once or over many family generations 4. family blessing - a good thing that can be monetary, a gifting, a talent that provides an increase once or  over many family generations Introduction (Chp. 5 & 6) Do you know your family history? It is important that you know about your family.  Many African and Jewish people feel disconnected to their unknown heritage.  Do you know all the names of your family members?  Not your church family, but your blood family? Yet, both families are important in out every day relationships. If you stay disconnected from your blood family, you will begin to lose your family history.  Many families have challenges because of lack of communicating due to past issues or hurts.  This type of behavior allows

Introduction:Holy Bible Chp. 4 & Surah 2:42-48

Introduction Aired 9/20/2010. Question posed? Is the male species incapable of completing a task or goal alone?  Since we know that God (Yaweh, Allah) created everything for him in the beginning of creation? Do females have the innate ability to follow through on tasks? As discussed earlier, the first Man and Woman were created on the continent of Africa. Africans and Arabians orginally spoke Hebrew and wrote from right to left.  This is why Algebra is best studied in this fashion.  The Hebrew people understand the full origin of sacrifices unto the Lord.  We do  know that there were animal sacrifices, crop sacrifices, and human sacrifices. The first sacrifices within these categories were also important.  It isn't about just giving, or giving the best of your ability.  It is about showing that you are thankful for your ability or blessing. Example: You can give a smile (thankful) to a stranger and yet, have an ugly attitude or intention (sinful) of its purpose. The majorit

Aired 9/13/10 With all this goodness in Chapter 3 (Genesis) we find that the first Man and Woman were not obeying God (Allah, Yahweh). The very first verse of this chapter introduces the old, evil Satan. Animals can be evil. Eve should have said, "Why am I listening to you Satan? You didn't create me." vs. 3 Notice the tree was positioned in the Middle of the Garden. vs. 5 as gods?! We should not strive to be like many gods. Our focus should be like the one true God, our Creator. vs. 6 Eve takes a look at the tree. Now, Satan was a high ranking male angel who was kicked out of heaven. All high ranking angels, and most biblical angels, were said to be males.  We are not suppose to worship the angels. We worship God. vs. 7 There nakedness meant that they knew that they shouldn't have eaten from the tree: They now have new knowledge of humanity.  It revealed to them what is good and evil on earth. vs. 8  They (Adam and Eve) begin hiding from the instructions of God
