Sherlene: Wintry November Poems

November comes, And November goes with the last red berries and the first white snows, With night coming early and dawn coming late, And ice in the bucket and frost by the gate. The fire burn and the kettle sing, And earth sinks to rest until next spring. -Elizabeth Coatsworth Nature's first green is [actually] gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Amen. -Author Unknown

So let your child(ren), grandchildren, little nieces and nephews, or little cousins enjoy the season.  The NewMonday Show Still in the Book of Judges (Holy Bible). I must admit that maybe I should advise parental discretion because there is a lot going on: virginity, wars, death, and births. sherleneonline.org 24/7 Let's talk  Color and Art We grown-ups provide the time, the space, the materials, and the atmosphere needed to create the wonderful works of art that only children can create.   In valuing a child’s first artistic attempts, however, we should appreciate the beauty of the color and design rather than worry about the finished product. Real art for children is personal ....
