Over and over again, we rally; we protest; we debate. Is this a form of cultural hypnosis so that we, natural born citizens of this country, won't participate in newness? An example, we say we are for immigrants coming to our country, but what is the first thing that we do? We grab their children and place them into our world of normalcy of how we believe we should treat strangers. Is this yet another form of hypnosis? Then, we start to verbalize: "Yeah we're all for immigration." Why haven't we really resolved the immigration crisis? Or, to avoid our own country's social issues, many citizens will show more actions of love to immigrants than to natural born citizens of this country. We allow our leaders to make laws for us that, here recently, get overturned during each presidential administration.
