Let's talk about my book, The Script in My Box
The purpose of writing my memoir was to encourage and discuss family bonding opportunities.  I believe that families need to identify their family history within American communities. We seem to be the only culture that does not know our family history, or is ashamed of our history. Do you know both sides of your family that have made you you?

In The Script in My Box my goal was to retrace some of my difficult life experiences to begin the healing process of understanding why my native community would want me to remain in a forced marriage. I recall some of my earlier activities of helping others (a community leader, 4-H) within my community. Never thinking that my community would one day not desire to help me.  A black female who received awards, and scholarships from the very community that would not help me during my most challenging life experiences. My book is also a mystery. Read The Script in My Box to discover the mystery, and ways to strengthen your family bonding moments.
