From the Editor
The current hosted theme event is Before Structured U.S.A. Government, now - October 31.  During this time, I will be role playing as Nat Turner (Baptist itinerant minister and slave) on all of my social networking sites. I will continue to highlight  information that I think you will find interesting of the 2012 political campaign. Continue to pray for me as I strive to make a transition of my current lifestyle and career path. Thank you for reading this weekly newspaper and being loyal households of family bonding opportunities.

The New Monday Show
Discussion topic was learning the correct way to participate in a religious celebrations such as Passover. I also discussed the value of donations, and the structure of a religious economic system. You may listen to last night's show at sherleneonline.org 24/7. Listen to the live show each Monday @ 6:30 p.m., Eastern.

Let's talk MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES: THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
The major political parties of the U.S.A are the democratic and republican parties.  Other featured political parties are known as third parties (Green Party, Libertarian Party) or independents. As an independent, you could vote for me as your next president in 2016 :)

Republican Party
This party was founded by anti-slavery activists in 1854, aka Grand Old Party or G.O.P. The traditional mascot is the elephant because of its strength. It is represented by the color red. Republicans tend to believe that the role of government should be limited, preferring to spend tax money on the military and defense.  They also believe that freeing business from government regulations allows such businesses to succeed, create jobs, and gain prosperity for all.

Infamous Republican Presidents
Abraham Lincoln has been our tallest president.
Teddy bears are named after Theodore Roosevelt
William Taft was our heaviest president, weighing in at 332 pounds.

Agreeing to disagree: Yes, on some issues. However, both major parties share a common goal--to make the U.S. the best country it can be.
